Mount McKinley -
The Crown Jewel of Denali Park

At 20,310 feet, Mount McKinley is the tallest peak in North America.
Despite its huge size, Mount McKinley is very elusive as it often remains hidden beneath thick clouds... but when the shroud finally lifts, it reveals an unforgettable sight.

In 2015, Mt. McKinley was renamed "Denali".

Portraits of Mount McKinley

The Southern view of Mount McKinley is my favorite, as the mountain appears as a single peak. However, viewed form the North, Mount McKinley clearly exhibits its two peaks, but the mountain now looks like a massive blob of jelly.

Reflection Pond, located near Wonder Lake, provides a peaceful backdrop for a mesmorizing picture of Mount McKinley.
