Potentilla uniflora, commonly known as One-flowered Cinquefoil, can be found in highlands or plateaus. These flowers have 5 bright yellow petals, and often grow in small shrubs.

These pictures were taken in Interior Alaska in a fairly arid area, South of the Arctic Circle.
